While taking the complete photo’s of the 68 C10, couldn’ t pass up the opportunity to get the C10 and my 68 together for pictures as they similar builds. Both are 68 Chevy’s, both have small block Chevy V8's, both have Muncie 4 speed manual transmissions, both are factory Blues for their respective offered colors, and both sit on Rally wheels and redlines. The main difference between the two is interior color, the Camaro has its original b lack i nterior and the C10 has all new blue.

Gorgeous, and great shots.
But the photographer in me says, “Hmm, I need to shop out those light pole shadows....”

Very well done. I’ve followed your build journal on here and that was a ton of very challenging work. Good thing your grandfather helped out!

Much easier to see with a dispassionate eye. I’m sure there are many here who will be happy to take on the task.

Matching blue/white is wonderful. Matching wheels/tires just puts over the top. Good shit.

Could be the redline tires playing tricks on me but I’m thinking those are 16" (so repop) rally wheels? How are they? I’d like to go wider (but still 15") on the back of the C hevelle but they didn’t come wider than 15x8 (and those are rare as it is).

both rigs have 15" wheels, The Camaro has 7" wheels off a 69 Z/28 as they are AD code wheels. The C10 has aftermarket 8" wheels as the C10s up until 1971 were 6 lug wheels. I did order correct corvette 8" trim rings. You can get a 10" rally wheel through Wheel V intiques and you just run a 8" trim ring as I don’ t think there are any deeper sets on the market.

Are
the ones on the truck also from
Wheel Vintiques
? I hear about them a
lot but being (I believe) lug-centric I’m a little leery
.

Not sure as they came on the truck when I bought it. They are just like a factory Rally wheel though as far as they lug nuts needed. Stock center caps snap right on and trim rings fit with a little persuasion. I would just look for Rallys that are single bolt pattern like a stock wheel. Vintique offers that. The dual pattern rallys are usually junk.

The Camaro will never go anywhere as it was my first car, the C10 would only go down the road if someone wants to trade a LeMans Blue 68 Corvette roadster for it.
